is to misinterpret. We know of nothing more terrible than to shut
out poor dying sinners from God’s love and redemption. But
this is done by inserting a limiting word where Jesus and the Scriptures
have no such word.”

Reformed Injili mengabaikan penggunaan "dunia" dalam konteks nats maupun Injil Yohanes dan memaksakan falsafah kafir ke dalam ayat ini. Calvinisme memperkosa grammar nats ini untuk membenarkan ajaran bahwa Kristus mati hanya bagi orang pilihan. Guru2 palsu tersebut memaksakan istilah2 yang asing seperti "cukup" atau "memadai" untuk seluruh dunia tetapi "efektif" atau berlaku hanya bagi orang pilihan--istilah2 itu tidak ada dalam nats ini. Yang jelas Dia mati bagi dunia--bagi semua orang; bukan seperti kata filsafat Calvinisme bahwa hanya untuk orang pilihan.
